Toyota of Orange, the Toyota dealer near Riverside Ca, loves the show the Masked Singer, and he started to love it, even more, when he found out that the show’s host, Nick Cannon, enlisted the Burbank shop West Coast Customs to turn his Toyota Tundra into an apocalyptic monster truck.

The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon wanted everyone to know he wanted to soup up his favorite Toyota ride. West Coast Customs is well-known for rebuilding vehicles to their client’s specific tastes, particularly for celebrities. They revealed on their social media that they made the modifications to Cannon’s 2020 Toyota Tundra Tundra. Dealers near Riverside Ca are going to take a look at what they did here.

Cannon Told Them, “Make It Look Like A Big Rig”

When Nick Cannon asked the guys at West Coast Customs to enlarge his Tundra, the one thing he didn’t want was any changes in the performance of his Toyota. The Toyota dealer near Riverside Ca doesn’t blame him for not wanting to boost the performance of his Tundra since the 2020 Tundra has a 5.7-liter, gas-powered V8 engine that generates 380 horsepower. The truck’s fuel economy isn’t mind-blowing, but it is a very reliable vehicle.

No doubt, Cannon is a huge celebrity and he has swagger. He most likely wanted to pimp out his Tundra, which anyone can get from the Toyota dealer near Riverside Ca for about $30,000, to gain more visibility on the street. Or, in Cannon’s words, “Raise it, all-black-everything, straight out of Mad Max. Underwater pipes on it, make it look like a big rig.”

Turning A Tundra Into A Monster Truck

First, the people at West Coast got to work on creating a render to make the Tundra bulky enough to drive right through a wall. Cannon wanted a more intimidating grille and a black vinyl wrap to give it that aggressive appearance. Also, the blacked-out windows and larger wheels really cemented Cannon’s approval. In fact, after he saw the renderings, cannon explained: “I’m on a monster truck high!”

The team managed to put some more substance on the exterior, including a custom grille that Cannon had seen on another vehicle. Truthfully, that was a bit more work for West Coast, who had to do some improvising to make that grille style fit the Tundra.

An air intake snorkel was added to the engine, while the undercarriage got larger wheels and 12-inch Bulletproof shock absorbers. To complete it, the new Cannon mobile has a bunch of LED lights bright enough to light up a 30 foot Christmas tree.

Beyond Belief Results

The results of Cannon’s monster truck is very impressive, indeed. In fact, he is very impressed, especially with the customized N-credible badge stamped in the middle of the grille.

All over L.A., you can hear Cannon’s audio system booming out of the souped-up Tundra’s cabin.

The Best Used Truck To Buy

If you are looking for a reliable full-size truck, your best bet is a Toyota Tundra. The Tundra is made in America and was first launched in 1999. In fact, it is the first Japanese full-size pickup, to ever be made in the United States. Toyota invested a lot in the infrastructure and built its own plant in Indiana, for a broader reach and minimal logistics. Also, the initial designs were a lot different too. They were redesigned and modified in the 2007 model in the second generation models. Plus, the 2007 model also delivered the 5.7-liter V8 engine.

The Tundra Is Well-Equipped, But Still Affordable

The Toyota Tundra is available with three options for the engine which are 4 liter V6, 4.6 liter V8 and 5.7 liter V8. the first one produces 270 horsepower, the second 310 horsepower with a five-speed transmission. The third is the most powerful engine that delivers 381 horsepower and is attached to a six-speed transmission. Each one comes with a standard RWD.

There is an optional four-wheel drive that is only available in the V8 engine. Although the V6 is fine for daily commutes, the V8 is more powerful and more suitable for heavy-duty hauling and towing purposes.

The 2013 models were also available in Limited TRD Rock Warrior double cab and Platinum trims with extra cruise control and remote entry options.

Tundras Are Reliable

Tundras are the most reliable trucks available on the market. They are long-lasting than their competitors as well, with normal maintenance and replacements such as tires, brakes, batteries, oil changes, and so on. If you purchase a used Tundra that is in pretty good condition, it could easily last you well over 200,000 miles and may still have some life left in it afterward. In reality, a used Tundra truck drives just as well as a new model, without any issues whatsoever. Plus, it is one of the reasons why you should purchase a Toyota Tundra rather than its rivals.

Tundras Are Safe

Tundras are equipped with a comprehensive Star Safety system that comes with a lot of safety features such as ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, traction control, and standard electronic stability control.

Tundras Have Lots Of Power And Good Handling

Both the V8 and V6 engines provide excellent performance. The V6 engine gives 20 mpg on the highway and around 16 mpg in the city. While the 4.7-liter V8 engine offers 17 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highways. We have to warn you that the 5.7-liter V8 is a big fuel drinker and only delivers 18 mpg on the highways and 13 mpg in the city. Although it demands a lot at the pump, this truck can effortlessly tow more than 10,000 pounds.

If you are interested in a Toyota Tundra, even if you aren’t planning to pimp up your new ride as Nick Cannon did, make sure to head down to the Toyota dealer near Riverside Ca, Toyota of Orange, so they can show you all their new and second hand Toyota Tundra models.
